CamWriMos is a friendly, supportive group of casual and serious writers, mostly in the Cambridge area, with a long history of helping each other through formal and informal writing challenges.

We welcome new folk to our in-person meets, our Facebook group, and/or our Discord server (where our home-grown bot spouts thought-provoking nonsense and runs timed writing sprints).

We support a major adventure each November but are keen to review our calendar of other events. Our version of the “novel in a month” format is more “whatever you like”, and we’re happy to facilitate challenges for poems, short stories, critical or non-fiction, screenwriting, interactive or games writing, and more.
